Who we are

This website is operated by CDA Business Services Ltd, Unit 11, Butts Court, Butts Street, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 3AW. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us on 01942 683994 or mail@cdabs.co.uk.

Cookies we use

When you first visit this site, a banner lets you choose which cookies you’re happy for us to use. We only set the following categories:

Necessary — a cookie that remembers your cookie preference itself, so we don’t ask you again on every visit. This can’t be switched off, as the site can’t function without it.

Analytics — if you accept these, Google Analytics sets cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site (which pages are popular, how people found us, and so on). This is only active if you consent, and no data is collected if you decline or select “Reject All”.

We don’t currently use any advertising or marketing cookies.

You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies for this site and reloading the page, which will bring the preference banner back up.

How we use personal information you give us

Certain pages on this site ask you for information directly:

Contact form — your name, email address and message are sent to us by email so we can respond to your enquiry. We don’t add you to any marketing list from this alone.

Meter reading submissions — your account/contact details and meter reading are sent to us by email for billing and service purposes.

Job Log records — used by our engineers to record completed work. This may include your name, a signature, job details and photographs, which are emailed to you and to us as a record of the work carried out. Signature images stored on our server are automatically and permanently deleted after 12 months.

We only use this information to deal with your enquiry, job or account, and to meet any legal or accounting obligations we may have.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site:

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) — processes anonymised website usage statistics, only if you’ve consented to analytics cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

Email delivery — form submissions and job records are sent using a third-party email delivery service to make sure they reach us reliably.

We don’t sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it’s wrong, to have it deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or how we handle information. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
